
Jodie Stephenson
Jodie is an experienced leader with an extensive background in the Australian Public Service, board governance, and business ownership. A D’harawal woman living in Canberra, she oversees operational management for JWLG and provides facilitation and executive coaching services through Kirribilli Partners, helping high-performing public servants enhance their leadership capabilities.
With a proven track record of leading teams through complex environments, Jodie currently holds several Board and Council positions, including a Ministerial appointment to the ACT Reconciliation Council and a seat on the Board of the Canberra Indigenous Business Network.
Her career includes nearly 20 years in the Australian Public Service, where she specialised in international trade and aviation policy. A highlight was representing Australia as a Delegate at the 35th General Assembly of the United Nations International Civil Aviation Organisation. She also held significant roles within the Departments of Infrastructure, Agriculture, Immigration, and Foreign Affairs and Trade, as well as Austrade. Her early career included a decade in the private aviation sector with Ansett Australia Airlines.
Since 2017 Jodie has developed her approach as a facilitator and coach. She has well over a thousand hours in coaching and facilitation and is known for her conversational style, curious mindset, and commitment to helping individuals, teams and organisations thrive.
Her academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Business (Monash University), a Graduate Certificate in Management (ANU), and a Graduate Certificate in Psychology (JCU). She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD), a Certified Executive Coach (IECL), an Accredited Facilitator (DISC), and a Quality Assurance Lead Auditor.
